意大利体育代表团入场 第九届国际斯托克·曼德维尔运动会 （英語：9th Annual International Stoke Mandeville Games ），即1960年夏季残疾人奥林匹克运动会 ，是第一届残疾人奥林匹克运动会 ，其前身是1948年至1952年举办的斯托克·曼德维尔运动会（今世界能力运动会 ）。赛会由国际斯托克·曼德维尔运动会联合会（International Stoke Mandeville Games Federation）主办[ 1] 国际奥林匹克委员会 于1984年批准使用“Paralympic”一词[ 2] 国际残疾人奥林匹克委员会 初创。
赛事于1960年9月18日至25日在罗马（1960年奥运会 举办地）举行，当时只设脊椎损伤一个残疾组别。是届赛事共有23国（地区）400人参赛[ 2] [ 3] [ 4] [ 5] [ 6]
