麦哲伦陨石坑 (Magelhaens)是月球正面 位于丰富海 西南岸的一座古老大陨坑 ，约形成于酒海纪 [ 1] 葡萄牙 探险家 斐迪南·麦哲伦 (1480年-1521年)，1935年被国际天文学联合会 批准接受。

麦哲伦陨石坑外观呈多边形状，东西二侧分布着小山脊，整体受侵蚀程度中等。陨坑西北侧边缘平直，东南外壁连接了卫星坑"麦哲伦 A"，而内侧壁坡较为平整。坑壁平均高出周边地形1030米[ 1] [ 1] 玄武岩 熔岩 淹没，表面无其它典型的地貌结构，反照率 与东北方幽暗的月海 表面相一致。
按惯例，最靠近麦哲伦陨石坑的卫星坑在月图上以字母标注在该坑中心点的旁边。
