在數學中，特別是在線性代數中，零矩陣即所有元素皆為0的矩陣。一些零矩陣的例子：

0_{1,1}={\begin{bmatrix}0\end{bmatrix}},\ 0_{2,2}={\begin{bmatrix}0&0\\0&0\end{bmatrix}},\ 0_{2,3}={\begin{bmatrix}0&0&0\\0&0&0\end{bmatrix}}.

零矩陣也表示將任意向量置零的线性变换。^[1]

性質

$m\times n$ 的零矩陣 $O {\displaystyle O}$ 和 $m\times n$ 的任意矩陣 $A {\displaystyle A}$ 的和為 $A+O=O+A=A$ ，差為 $A-O=A$ ， $O-A=-A$ 。
$l\times m$ 的零矩陣 $O {\displaystyle O}$ 和 $m\times n$ 的任意矩陣 $A {\displaystyle A}$ 的積 $O A {\displaystyle OA}$ 為 $l\times n$ 的零矩陣。
$l\times m$ 的任意矩陣 $B {\displaystyle B}$ 和 $m\times n$ 的零矩陣 $O {\displaystyle O}$ 的積 $B O {\displaystyle BO}$ 為 $l\times n$ 的零矩陣。
