墨丘利环形山 （Mercurius）是位于月球正面 东北部的一座古老的大撞击坑 ，约形成于39.2-38.5亿年前的酒海纪 [ 1] 古罗马 神话中众神的信使墨丘利 ，1935年被国际天文学联合会 正式接受。
该陨坑西北和东南偏东分别毗邻巨大的恩底弥翁环形山 和已磨损的芝诺环形山 、西南则分布了较小的卡林顿陨石坑 ，它的西面和南面分别靠近时令湖 和希望湖 ，而东北稍远处则坐落更大的洪堡海 [ 2] 月面坐标 为46°40′N 66°04′E / 46.66°N 66.07°E /46.66; 66.07 [ 3] [ 1]
墨丘利环形山外观轮廓大体圆形，但部分地区稍显参差，沿边缘有数处略向外突，最明显的它的东侧和南侧段。环坑沿的内壁大部分已坍塌，形成了一圈尖峭狭窄的壁沿，宽厚的内壁面上显示有一些已模糊的阶地结构残迹，并嵌入有数座细小的撞击坑。该环形山的残壁最大高出周边地形1240米[ 1] [ 1] 熔岩 淹没，平坦的地表上散布着一些细小的坑穴，靠东北分布有数道低矮的山脊，中心点略西南有一座稍稍隆起的中央丘。
按惯例，靠近墨丘利环形山的卫星坑在月图上以字母标注在该坑中心点的旁边。
