Fairy Slingshot
Use the Slingshot to shoot enemies or objects that are far away. Hold the C Button and Link's hands zooms in. Aim with the Control Stick and release the C Button to shoot. If you use Z Targeting before shooting, your accuracy wil increase greatly. If you just hold the C Button, you can aim the Slingshot without shooting it. Colect Deku Seeds to refill your ammunition.

InOcarina of Time, the Fairy Slingshot is foundInside the Deku Tree. WhileLink is a child, the Fairy Slingshot serves as his only projectile weapon, replaced by theBow in adulthood. It firesDeku Seeds,[2] which are commonly found by cutting grass or defeating enemies. The Fairy Slingshot must be used for many tasks to aid Link on his quest, including defeating enemies such asSkulltulas and shooting far awaySwitches.

Oracle of Seasons

Slingshot
Use the Slingshot to shoot seeds at distant objects. Shooting different seeds will produce different effects. If you don't have any seeds, you can't use the Slingshot.

InOracle of Seasons, the Slingshot is located inside theDancing Dragon Dungeon. This Slingshot usesMystical Seeds, serving the same purpose as theSeed Shooter inOracle of Ages. The main difference between them is that, with the Slingshot, the direction of the seed cannot be changed while preparing to shoot; moreover, the seeds will not ricochet if they come in contact with a wall.

The Slingshot can be upgraded to theHyper Slingshot. It shoots threeMystical Seeds at a time in three different directions. It is found insideSword & Shield Maze.

Four Swords Adventures

Slingshot

Hit an opponent with a Deku nut to freeze him for a moment. Press and hold the A Button and then release it to fire even more Deku nuts!

Lev. 2
Press the A Button and store up enough power, to fire shots in three different directions.

InFour Swords Adventures, the Slingshot can be found in various Levels; however, it can only be used in the Level where it is obtained, as all items disappear from Link's inventory once the Level is completed. If Link gives it to aGreat Fairy, it will be upgraded to the Level 2 Slingshot, which allows Link to fire seeds in three different directions at once. Also, Link can charge the Slingshot to increase its travel distance. Different from previous games, the Slingshot has unlimited ammunition.

Twilight Princess

InTwilight Princess, the Slingshot is available for purchase atSera's Sundries inOrdon Village for 30Rupees. It usesPumpkin Seeds as ammunition, which can be found when destroyingOrdon Pumpkins. The Slingshot can knock downBeehives in one shot and defeat small enemies likeSkullwalltulas andKeese. Once Link obtains the Bow, the Slingshot becomes mostly useless, as it has less range and cannot damage bigger enemies.

Skyward Sword

InSkyward Sword, the Slingshot is given to Link by theKikwi elderBucha in theFaron Woods after finding three of the missing Kikwis. The Slingshot can be upgraded to theScattershot at theScrap Shop. This upgrade can fire several shots at once, widening the area that it can hit. Despite firing multiple projectiles, it only consumes one Seed per use, as it breaks the Seed into several pieces.
