Lizal Boomerangs areWeapons favored byLizalfos that can be used for either melee or thrown attacks.[1] They belong to theLizalfos Gear equipment archetype, which includes allWeapons created by Lizalfos.[4] Though they are most commonly used by regular Lizalfos,Fire-Breath Lizalfos,Ice-Breath Lizalfos, andElectric Lizalfos can also use these Weapons early on. When thrown,Link must catch theBoomerang before it returns to him, or else he will take damage. They can be found aroundLake Hylia and in theLanayru Wetlands.
As metal Weapons, Lizal Boomerangs will spark and attractLightning when equipped duringThunderstorms, and they are capable of conductingElectricity. They will sink when dropped inWater, however, they can also be picked up using theMagnesisRune on theSheikah Slate. Finally, they will not burn when exposed toFire or aScorching Climate.
