Location and Uses

The Goron Drums are obtained alongside theGoron Mask afterLink healsDarmani III's soul. It replaces theOcarina of Time when Link is transformed into aGoron. In this form, Link must use them to learn the "Goron Lullaby" from theGoron Elder andhis son in order to put the latter to sleep. By playing the song on the Goron Drums inSnowhead, Link can putBiggoron to sleep, allowing passage toSnowhead Temple.

Trivia

  • The Goron Drums existed as an independentC-ButtonItem in the originalMajora's Mask. Their icon was coded into the game but was not implemented in the final release.[3] It can be seen in certainpre-release screenshots. The item was later given its own icon inMajora's Mask 3D.
  • The instrument was added to the game becauseEiji Aonuma also plays the bongos.[4]
