Zora's Flippers
These Flippers belong to Zora the man-fish, whose domain is the wet blue yonder. They are a necessity — you cannot swim without them (If you try swimming without the Flippers you will be returned to land). To get through this adventure, you must get your feet wet, so find the Flippers as soon as possible.

Zora's Flippers
The flippers allow the wearer to swim in the water.

The Zora's Flippers can be bought fromKing Zora for 500Rupees at theZora's Waterfall inA Link to the Past. They allowLink to swim in deep water and to useWhirlpool Waterways to warp between bodies of water. In theGame Boy Advance version, Link is able todive underwater while swimming. This can be used to avoid enemy attacks and certain traps.

Link's Awakening

Flippers
If you acquire the Flippers, you'll be able to swim! When in the water, press the A Button to swim and the B Button to dive.

The Flippers are obtained in theAngler's Tunnel inLink's Awakening. They allow Link to swim and dive underwater by pressing the B button,[4] which is required to enter theCatfish's Maw.[5] By diving underwater, Link can avoid attacks from enemies while swimming.

The Zora's Flippers are received from theMaster Diver at theSunken City if Link retrieves theMaster's Plaque for him inOracle of Seasons. With the Zora's Flippers, Link can dive for a short period of time. If theZora Ring is worn, he can dive for an infinite length of time.

The Zora's Flippers are found inCheval's Tomb in theYoll Graveyard inOracle of Ages. They are used to passCheval's tests in order to get theCheval Rope. Link can later find theMermaid Suit, an upgrade to the Flippers. With the Zora's Flippers, Link can dive for a short period of time. If theZora Ring is worn, he can dive for an infinite length of time.

The Minish Cap

The Flippers can be found in a sewer underneath theRoyal Hyrule Library after returning all the missing books inThe Minish Cap. With the Flippers, Link is able to gain entrance to theTemple of Droplets atLake Hylia.

A Link Between Worlds

Link receives the Zora's Flippers fromOren atZora's Domain after returning theSmooth Gem stolen by theShady Guy inA Link Between Worlds. They allow Link to swim and dive in deep water.

Echoes of Wisdom

The Zora's Flippers areAccessories that can be purchased for 350Rupees at theRiver Zora Shop inRiver Zora Village. When worn, they grantSwim Speed Up toZelda, which allows her toSwim faster.[2]

InAncient Stone Tablets, the Zora's Flippers can be bought from King Zora for 300 Rupees. If theHero of Light talks to King Zora during a raining period, he will sell the Flippers for 150 Rupees instead. They allow the hero to swim in deep water, which is required to enter Level 2.

Cadence of Hyrule

InCadence of Hyrule, the Zora's Flippers are received from thePrince after waking him up.[6] They allow the hero to swim in deep water likeLake Hylia, allowing easier access to theFrozen Grotto and general mobility around the map.[3]
