Anker's new Nano Power Bank MagGo 5K Slim battery pack is sleek, simple, and super impressive. 

Why we like it: The Anker Nano Power Bank MagGo Slim battery pack is a sleek Qi2 MagSafe charging option that costs $55. It features a 5K capacity battery, a slim profile, and comes in 4 colors. It's design is easy to carry and comfortable to hold, and is a great battery to slip into purses, backpacks, and even pockets. 

Who's it for:This pack is a great option for a first-time MagSafe purchaser or anyone looking for a slim, everyday carry option to boost a phone battery on the go. It's sleek profile makes it perfect for so many use cases. 

Who should look elsewhere:If you want something under $50 or with a larger battery capacity, this won't be for you. If you need more power, consider a 10K option.

Anker Nano MagGo 5W Slim Magnetic Power Bank 5K specs: Capacity: 5,000mAh | Charging Port: USB-C | Power button: Yes 

I really liked the first iteration of this battery pack and included it on this list over the last several months. I like the newly upgraded Qi2 version even more. This new model has the USB-C connector on the side instead of the bottom of the pack, clearer indicator lights and a tad slimmer build. 

Why we like it: Simply put, at $60, this pack works great. Its secure grip and competitive battery speak for themselves. I took this pack to a Yankees game, several late-night outings, work, and even on errands, and I am impressed with the charging. You can expect between a 25-30% battery boost in about an hour to your phone. It also comes with a built-in stand that easily swings in and out. 

Who's it for:Someone looking for a no-fuss, practical battery pack that doesn't mind a bit of bulk. This battery isn't packed with extra bells or whistles, and it doesn't come in fun colors like it used to.

Who should look elsewhere: If you're looking to use a MagSafe battery pack for longer chargers, you'll want a larger capacity pack. If you want a bit more personality or other colors, you'll also want to check out other brands. Apple used to exclusively sell colored iterations of this pack, but it seems to no longer be available. However, Belkin carries the black and white iterations as well as the 8K and 10K models.

Why we like it:The Benks ArmorGo 10K pack features Qi2 charging, a comfortable grip, and not too cumbersome design despite being bulkier than smaller 5K capacity options on this list. 

Who's it for:This pack is ideal for someone who needs more battery power on the regular than what a 5K pack can offer or for someone wanting more bang for their buck. At $60, this pack is only a few dollars more than popular 5K pack options. 

Who should look elsewhere:If you need a smaller, slimmer, or more lightweight carry option, you'll want to consider a 5K capacity pack, like the Anker MagGo 5K Slim or the Torras MiniMag.

Benks ArmorGo 10K Qi2 Power Bank specs: Capacity:10,000mAh | Charging Port: USB-C | Power button: Yes 

If you're someone who does a lot of work with your phone, having a battery pack that you can use both on the go and at your desk is incredibly important. 

Why we like it: With a single magnetic click, this $34 battery pack can be stored in your pocket or propped up using its sturdy magnet to create a stand. Additionally, you don't have to worry about charging your phone and your battery pack separately, as you can charge both simultaneously when the pack is connected to a power source. Plus, this pack is lightweight and well-priced compared to Apple's offerings.

Who's it for: When former ZDNET associate editor Christina Darby tested out this Anker 622 magnetic battery pack, it provided her and her iPhone-dependent workflow with everything she needed in a single package. This is great for anyone look for double duty function of charging and propping your device up, even on the go. Plus, if you love fun colors, this is a great pick.

Who should look elsewhere: Those looking for a larger capacity charger should consider other options. Additionally, if you don't have any need for a stand and MagSafe battery option, you can likely fulfill your needs with cheaper alternatives. 

Anker 622 Magnetic Battery specs: Capacity: 5,000mAh | Charging Port: USB-C | Power button: Yes 

Why we like it: This Torras MiniMag Battery Pack is still the thinnest wireless charger I've tested. It doesn't have any kickstand or added features, but its 5,000mAh capacity is pretty comparable to other packs on this list. The MiniMag pack is available typically under $50 and only 0.3 inches thick, which makes it ultra slim and easily portable. It's a lot less bulky than the Belkin BoostCharge QI2, but it provides a similar charging experience. It provides 18W USB-C charging or 7.5W wireless charging as well.

Who's it for:This pack is perfect for anyone looking for a sleek, lightweight, 5,000mAh capacity battery pack. It also comes in three different colors.

Who should look elsewhere: Despite some possible improvement areas, it's a good buy. This probably isn't the best battery if you're looking for added features like kickstands or grips or larger capacity options. Torras does make a 10,000mAh version that's only 0.5 inches thick, but the MiniMag a super practical option to ensure you always have a battery pack on hand.

When using a MagSafe battery pack to charge your phone, a mild warming of your device and the battery is to be expected, but it shouldn't be hot to the touch. If you're worried about overheating, the $70 Sharge Icemag 2 is designed to stay cool while charging.

Why we like it: Expert Jack Wallen loved this 10,000mAh battery pack for bolstering his Google Pixel 9. "With a perfect size, a powerful battery, RBG lighting, and a tiny fan to keep things cool, this power bank is ideal for those on the go," Wallen said in his review. Wallen noted that the strong magnets on the Sharge battery prevent it from slipping off, and the built-in kickstand is perfect for propping up his phone. But the best part is the Sharge Icemag's cooling feature. 

Who's it for:The MagSage user looking for a cooling battery pack option for their Android or Apple device. 
"The Icemag 2 includes a tiny fan to keep the charger from getting hot, and it does a good job with that task. Hold your finger next to the vent, and you will actually feel warm air escape ... while I did find the Pixel 9 Pro did get a bit warm, it wasn't anything to be concerned about," Wallen said.

Who should look elsewhere: Though the Icemag 2 is great for keeping a cool battery booster, Wallen said it isn't the fastest charging power bank on the market, though he surmised it would charge an iPhone faster than his Pixel. If you're looking for quick charging or a smaller battery capacity option, you'll want to look elsewhere.

If you're in the market for a compact, wireless, and travel-friendly charging setup, or something to curb those cords at home -- this is it. The Anker MagGo 3-1 Wireless Charging Station has a compact form factor, one comparable to a deck of cards, while still being able to charge multiple devices simultaneously with impressive speed. 

Why we like it: The $77 Anker MagGo Wireless Charging Station leverages Qi2 technology to snap onto the back of your iPhone and delivers 15W fast charging. In addition, it has a retractable arm to set your Apple Watch and a pad for your AirPods or any earbuds that are compatible with wireless charging. 

Who's it for:Apple users looking for an easy and travel-friendly way to charge their ecosystem, including the Apple Watch, iPhone, and AirPods. When ZDNET's Sabrina Ortiz tested it earlier this year, it boosted her iPhone 14 from 40% to 60% in just 30 minutes. Ortiz also found that the charger steadily charged her multiple devices relatively evenly when 3-in-1 charging was used.

Who should look elsewhere: If you're looking for just a MagSafe battery pack, consider other options on this list. If you don't need a multi-charger or travel charger, or don't own an Apple Watch, you can probably skip out on this one. 

Anker MagGo 3-1 Wireless Charging Station features: 3-in-1 charging | 15W fast charging | Compact (folds to the size of a baseball) | USB-C connectivity 

If you've upgraded to the iPhone Air, Apple has developed a special MagSafe battery pack to keep your phone juiced up. It's a pricey $99. 

I haven't compared this battery with my other favorites for enough time yet, but I've so far enjoyed the charging of this Statik battery.

I love that there's indicator lights and an on/off switch, and it sticks great to my iPhone 14 Pro. It's only available in black and isn't as thin as some other options on this list. 

Expert Adrian Kingsley-Hughes likes thisQi2.2 portable power bank and it does come with a MagSafe option built-in. 

The Moft MagSafe battery pack is elevated, sleek, and offers a 3,400mAh power boost. 

I was really impressed with the affordable yet luxurious feel of all the accessories. However, it offers less juice than other packs on this list and is only ideal for top offs.
