Political commentator Nick Fuentes entered a plea agreement this week in a misdemeanor battery case stemming from a confrontation at his Chicago home last year.

The plea deal, finalized during a hearing held earlier this week, allows Fuentes to avoid a full battery conviction pending he meets severalconditions, including community service and an in-person apology to the alleged victim, per The Daily Mail.

Fuentes, 27, a figure online known for his critiques of mainstream media and various cultural issues, was arrested on November 27, 2024, following the incident at his Chicago residence.

According to a police report from the Berwyn Police Department, the altercation began when a woman, identified asMarla Rose, arrived unannounced at Fuentes’ doorstep and began knocking on the door.

Rose had reportedly beenangered by Fuentes’ viral Xpost dated November 5, 2025, that read “Your body, my choice. Forever.”

The Berwyn Police Department’s incident report, obtained by The Chicago Sun-Times and corroborated in the court filings, detailed that Rose kept knocking on Fuentes’ door until he answered, leading to a quick, heated exchange.

Fuentes allegedly sprayed pepper spray toward Rose and pushed her, resulting in a broken cellphone and other minor injuries. Rose then filed a complaint with the local police, prompting Fuentes’ arrest later that evening. He was released on bond the same day.

Under a plea agreement, Fuentes pleaded guilty to the misdemeanor battery charge and was placed on supervised probation. Per the Cook County State’s Attorney’s Office disposition summary, the charge will be dismissed upon successful fulfillment of a set of terms byJanuary 23, 2026.

The terms for Fuentes’ plea agreement reportedly include:

  • Completing 75 hours of community service

  • Enrolling in and finishing an anger management course

  • Paying $635 in restitution to Rose for her damaged phone

  • Delivering a formal apology to Rose in open court
