Tommaso Ciampa def. Joe Gacy
Tommaso Ciampa graciously granted Joe Gacy the opportunity to earn his way into the NXT Title Match at Halloween Havoc, but Blackheart made the ring anything but a safe space. Despite an attitude of inclusivity, Gacy found himself on the receiving end of a macro-aggressions and a Fairy Tale Ending from the NXT Champion. After the match, Harland rushed in and left the NXT Universe puzzled with a very creepy interaction with Gacy.
Xyon Quinn def. Malik Blade
Xyon Quinn has been unstoppable since his NXT 2.0 debut, and Malik Blade couldn’t slow down the steamroller tonight. Quinn showed his incredible mix of skill and strength and finished off the victory with a devastating crossbody attack.
Ivy Nile def. Valentina Feroz
There’s making a great first impression, and then there’s the jaw-dropping display Ivy Nile put on in her in-ring debut. The newest Diamond Mine recruit drew Glamazon comparisons with an incomprehensible show of strength that finished with a back-breaking tap-out from Valentina Feroz.
Julius Creed def. Ikemen Jiro
Ikemen Jiro brings positivity everywhere he goes but there’s no room for sunshine in The Diamond Mine. After tempting fate, Jiro suffered a punishing conclusion as a slam and clothesline combo gave Creed the win. Kushida tried to rush in to the aid of his friend, but The Diamond Mine stacked up both Superstars in a post-match statement.
Kyle O’Reilly & Von Wagner def. Pete Dunne & Ridge Holland
It’s an uneasy alliance between Kyle O’Reilly & Von Wagner, but a clash with Pete Dunne & Ridge Holland forces a duo to focus on the things that matter: Survival. O’Reilly escaped an early barrage to tag in his teammate for a smashing collision with Holland. The two worked together as one in the final moments, as O’Reilly torpedoed Dunne with a flying knee and Von Wagner slammed his way to the win.
Duke Hudson def. Grayson Waller
Duke Hudson dealt himself a winning hand by using some devious tactics and a full handed roll-up to turn away the charge from Grayson Waller.
Indi Hartwell & Persia Pirotta def. Sarray & Amari Miller
Indi Hartwell & Persia Pirotta arrived on the scene in a big way with an eye-opening victory over Sarray & Amari Miller. A slam from Pirotta and Pretty Savage off the top rope by Indi Hartwell to seal the win. The victors were feeling themselves after the win and ignited a wild NXT Women’s Tag Team division confrontation.
Isaiah “Swerve” Scott def. Santos Escobar – NXT North American Title Match
Carmelo Hayes def. Isaiah “Swerve” Scott – NXT North American Title Match
The night began with Legado del Fantasma kidnapping Top Dolla and B-Fab, but it closed with an even bigger shock. Isaiah “Swerve” Scott awakened the evil spirits to overcome the numbers advantage and close out Santos Escobar with a JML Driver. The biggest fireworks came to close the night, as Carmelo Hayes cashed in his NXT Breakout Tournament victory and was left raising the gold.
