The Surf Ranch Hospitality Server team is responsible for delivering an exceptional guest experience by serving meals and refreshments throughout the day. Under the direct supervision of the Food & Beverage Manager and Supervisor, servers perform a range of duties both in guest-facing and behind-the-scenes capacities. These include serving food, clearing dishes, and engaging with guests. The Lifeguard plays a strong role in keeping Surf Ranch guests safe. Under the direct supervision of the Water Safety Manager, the Lifeguard will be responsible to maintain the safety of all people in and around the water and assist in medical aid when incidents occur. The Lifeguard will make water related decisions with the utmost regard for Surf Ranch employees and its guests. The Lifeguard must have an expert level understanding of all wave system operations as well as the ability to detect unsafe aquatic practices and recommend safe avenues for guests in a professional polite manner. The Lifeguard will watch the water, affect rescues, when necessary, watch the surrounding property, enforce property rules, and assist with any medical or water related emergency.
