Last week's Grey Cup had an average Canadian audience of nearly four million viewers, according to data released Wednesday by audience measurement company Numeris.
Numeris said an average audience of 3.985 million watched the Saskatchewan Roughriders defeat the Montreal Alouettes 25-17 on Sunday in Winnipeg in the 112th edition of the CFL's championship game. The game was broadcast on TSN, RDS and CTV.
The number is an increase over the average audience for the previous two Grey Cup games (3.572 million in 2023, 3.529 million in 2024).
Numeris also said the game’s reach — the number of unique viewers potentially exposed to the broadcast — was 10 million.

Dan Ralph, The Canadian Press5 minute readMonday, Nov. 17, 2025WINNIPEG - It's going to be a long off-season for Logan Ferland.
The Saskatchewan Roughriders defeated the Montreal Alouettes 25-17 on Sunday night to earn just their fifth Grey Cup title and first since winning it all in Regina in 2013. And the six-foot-four, 300-pound Ferland, the Riders' starting centre from Melfort, Sask., figures there will be plenty of celebrating in his home province for the next little while.
"It will be six months," Ferland said with a chuckle. "It's going to be a long off-season of celebrations."
Winning a CFL championship is special for any player. But a Saskatchewan native doing so as a Roughrider and being able to bring the Grey Cup back for the province's rabid fans to celebrate is next level in terms of accomplishment and a feeling of pride.

After watching Winnipeg represent the West in five straight title games, the Saskatchewan Roughriders responded by walking into their Prairie rival’s backyard and beating the Montreal Alouettes 25-17 to capture the 112th Grey Cup.

It was 90 minutes before kickoff at the 112th Grey Cup. Outside the Kenaston-area hotel, two women stood waiting for a cab, which took a long time to come. I’d arrived there to find I’d missed the latest shuttle to Princess Auto Stadium, and I was in a state of panic. I turned to the women, who were clearly decked out in football gear.
If you’re going to the game, I pleaded, can I hop in your cab? I don’t have any cash to help with the fare.
“Of course,” the two women replied, their voices warm with Grey Cup spirit. “Come with us!”
