I've sent you a PM and am looking forward to helping :) Please check your spam folder if you don't see it as they sometimes go there.
Kind regards, Gill
I noticed that you're working on pre-1700-era profiles such asJohn Wood. This is just a reminder that certifying to work on these types of profiles means that you agree to add valid sources as outlined in thePre-1700 Certification Quiz.
Also, for Post-1700 profiles, such as this oneSarah Clements, sources are usually widely available onFamilySearch for free. As stated on theSources FAQ, you must include the source for any information you add to WikiTree. Stating to "maybe added later" when creating a profile does not follow the guidelines.
If you need help with this, ourG2G Forum is a great place to start. You can get there by clicking the link on the Help menu.
Thanks!
Sandy
Please stop creating Pre-1700 profiles if you don't have any reliable sources for them. Please go over the Pre-1700 Help page in the link that I left you below.
Please stop creating duplicates. WikiTree is a single family tree, with one profile per person. We collaborate on these shared ancestors. See theDuplicates help.
I suggest that you go back and read the Honor Code (you can get to it from the Help menu), and perhaps some of the help that you find linked there. That might help explain the concepts.
Congratulations on certifying to work on pre-1700 profiles! It’s very important to read and understand thePre-1700 Profiles page. These profiles for deep ancestors are shared by many, and collaborating on them works best if we all follow the guidelines in the certification quiz.
Primary sources should always be added to pre-1700 profiles at the time they are created. If you don't have a source for a pre-1700 profile, it would be best to ask for help in the G2G forumbefore creating the profile.
