Georg was born about 1550. Georg passed away between 1611-1617.

George Willert was born in Schwaigern, Germany about 1550 (Schwaigern is a town in the district of Heilbronn, Baden-Württemberg, Germany. It is situated 12 km west of Heilbron). Five men containing the spelling variations of Wylhart, Wilheitt, Wilheyt, and Willhatt are contained in the 1539 tax record in Schwaigern.

Two residents of Schwaigern were named George Willert and one is still living in 1611 and is recorded as "Old Georg Willert". Early marriage records separate the two families.

"Old Georg Willert" is also mentioned in a 1610 court case as a sixty-year-old, placing his birth in 1550.

Georg's death date is assumed as between 1611 and 1617, based on Agnes Willert's marriage to Martin Ebelmann in 1617. Agnes is referred to as "the daughter of the deceased Georg Willert".

Parish records begin in 1600, making this the effective starting point of the Willheit, Willert, Willhoit, Willhoite, Wilhite, Willhite, Willhide, Wilhyde ancestry.
