Records have been difficult to find for Frank Abe. His compiled military record indicates he deserted in Helena Arkansas on 1 October 1864, loosing his left eye in service. More work needs done on this person.
There was a Frank Watson, born in Virginia living in Salem, New Jersey,[4]from 1900 through 1920. It is difficult to connect these two families.
