Biography

Sarah was the first wife ofThomas Hurlburt. Although no marriage record has been found, they are believed to have married 1642 or earlier based on the birth of their first child, 8 March 1642/3.^[1] suggesting that Sarah was born about 1620 or earlier. According toFamilies of Old Fairfield, Thomas's first wife's name is not known,^[1] however the birth record of son John as transcribed in the Barbour Collection records his wife as Sarah.^[2]

Sarah died before 1679, when Thomas married his 2nd wife Elizabeth.^[1]
