Bud Poile is Notable.

Norman Robert "Bud" Poile was a Canadian professional ice hockey player, coach, and executive. Bud had a successful career as a right winger in the NHL, playing for the Toronto Maple Leafs, Chicago Black Hawks, Detroit Red Wings, New York Rangers and Boston Bruins. He was part of the Maple Leafs' Stanley Cup-winning team in 1947.

Poile's dedication to the sport earned him the Lester Patrick Trophy in 1989 for his contributions to hockey in the United States. He was inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame in 1990. His legacy in hockey management continues through his son, David Poile, a successful NHL general manager.

Bud was born on February 10, 1924 in Fort William, Thunder Bay, Ontario, Canada. He died on January 4, 2005 in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, aged 80.
