Margaret McClung was the daughter ofSamuel McClung andPeggy.[citation needed] She was born about 1750 and died in 1847 at the age of 97.[1]
She marriedSamuel Houston in 1689.[2][1] They were the parents of:
She is buried in the New Providence Presbyterian Church Cemetery in Rockbridge County, VA.[1]

- Samuel Senior's wife has been listed as a Margaret McClung, born circa 1668 in Ireland and dying in 1747 in Rockbridge County, VA. In a book by Aimee Huston Eck, it is stated the widow Margaret arrived in Philadelphia with the family of her son John. They arrived in Philadelphia in 1735 and settled about 100 miles from Philly in Lancaster County, PA. After about seven years, they moved to Virginia. She was 80 years of age when she arrived in Philly and was 97 when died.[3]
