FatherJohn Hill b. c 1490

Elizabeth Hill was born circa 1515 at of London, Middlesex, England, the daughter of John Hill, haberdasher and merchant.

She married David Woodruff, son of John Woodruff, circa 1540.^[1]

Elizabeth died on 25 September 1572 at London, Middlesex, England and was buried on 5 October 1572 in Saint Andrew Undershaft, City of London, London, England.^[2]

Will

In her Will, dated July 1572,^[3] Elizabeth Woodroffe of St Andrews, London, late wife of David Woodroffe late of London alderman, requested to be buried in the church of St Andrew's Undershaft in the vault with her late husband
She mentioned her sons Nicholas Woodroofe, Steven Woodroofe and Robert Woodroofe
