Biography

John Harrington was born about 1826 in Tipperary. He married Ellen Delahunty at Templemore 25/11/1846. They emigrated to Australia, arriving in Brisbane in 1874 on the "Glamorganshire" then moving onto Sydney. Their listed ages were: John 39, Ellen 38 and Richard 11.

He died in 1897 (Death Cert NSW 190/1897 Parents John Harrington and Mary Fogarty, aged 74 b Co Tipperary, children Martin (49),^[1], Johanna (46), Edward (44)^[2], John (32), Richard (29) 2M deceased.
