Biography
Kelsey Grammer is an American actor, voice actor, comedian, producer, director, writer, singer, and activist. He is best known for his role as psychiatrist Dr. Frasier Crane on the NBC sitcoms Cheers and Frasier. He has won five Primetime Emmy Awards, three Golden Globe Awards, and one Tony Award.
He was the first American actor ever to be nominated for multiple Emmy awards for portraying the same character on three different television shows (Cheers, Frasier, and Wings[1]
Family
Kelsey has suffered many family tragedies during his life. HIs parents divorced when he was two years old. He, with his mother and sister, then went to live with his mother's father, Gordon Cranmer. Gordon died in 1967. His father was murdered in 1968 outside his home in St. Thomas, US Virgin Islands. His sister was murdered in 1975.
Kelsey has been married four times and has seven children.
