Biography

Perry was born in 1825, a son of William Cleary and Ann Hicks.^[1][2]

Perry died between 1870 and 1880. His youngest child Thomas E was living with his sister's family in 1880 - Valentine and Lecretia Clary White. I have been looking for Perry's burial site but cannot find anything on it.^[3]

He marriedSarah A. Gordon on 20 Jun 1849 in Murray County, Georgia.^{[4][5][6][7][8]}

He is listed in the 1850 US Census as living with wife and possibly his sister, in Murray County, Georgia. This is likelyElizabeth Clementine Cleary, born in 1836.^[9][10]

He is mentioned in an 1864 Census in Georgia, relating to the war effort.^[13] They had six children.
