If the exam paper you want is not here

This can be because:

• There was no exam for the paper. Not all courses areassessed by examination.
• The exam paper has not been processed yet. It can take 2–3 months after an exam period finishes for all papers to be processed and made available on the website.
• The Library has not received a copy from the school. A faculty may not have sent exam papers to the Library. Sometimes specific papers are embargoed to make further use of some questions.
• The lecturer has requested that the exam paper not be available. Sometimes specific lecturers request that we take down or do not upload specific papers for whatever reason.

In each of the above cases you will need to get in touch directly with your school or lecturer.

Exams before 2005

Exam papers prior to 2005 are not covered in this collection.

Exam papers before 2005 can be found in theJ.C. Beaglehole Room collection or offsite storage. To access these use the “make a request” link on the library catalogue record and your paper(s) can be retrieved.

The J.C. Beaglehole Room holds exam papers for 1895–2012:

• University of New Zealand exam papers from 1895–1961 (1922, 1924 and 1926 barely represented)
• Victoria University College exam papers 1941–1957 (except 1956)
• Victoria University of Wellington exam papers 1958–2009, 2011, 2012 (2010 online only).
