Profile

While studying my Diploma in Arts (History) part-time, I travelled extensively, which allowed me to exhibit internationally and take part in various residencies and internships. I lived in Sarajevo, Bosnia intermittently and taught art at Harfa International School in Split, Croatia. More recently, I was awarded the William Hodges Fellowship in Residence in Invercargill, which culminated in a solo exhibition at He Waka Tuia before I began my Master’s programme at Victoria University.

My time in Sarajevo deeply influenced my academic path. I became acutely aware of how historical narratives can be weaponised and used to obstruct social progress—an insight that has shaped both my research interests and thesis focus.

Currently, I work part-time in healthcare while living in New Zealand. I am developing ways to translate the function of medication into accessible diagrams and videos to assist both patients and healthcare workers.
