BUTLER, Pa. — Former president Donald Trump was rushed offstage with blood dripping down his face Saturday after a shooting that the authorities called an assassination attempt. One attendee was killed, and two others were critically injured at the campaign rally, the Secret Service said, a shocking turn in a tense election season in which concerns about violence had already been running high.
