BRIAN Little has parted company with Wrexham just hours before the club's home game against Torquay.

The club have made a disappointing steart to the new season in the Blue Square Premier League after being relegated from the Football League last season.

Little joined the club in November, replacing Brian Carey as manager.

A statement posted on the club's website today said: "The Board of Wrexham Football Club wish to announce that Brian Little has left the Club by mutual consent.

"The Board would like to thank Brian for his honesty, integrity and unceasing efforts and wish him every success in the future.

"Brian Carey and Martin Foyle will take-over team affairs for the game against Torquay United today, and will be overseeing training next week."
