ORDER BY
TheORDER BY command is used to sort the result set in ascending or descending order.
TheORDER BY command sorts the result set in ascending order by default. To sort the records in descending order, use theDESC keyword.
The following SQL statement selects all the columns from the "Customers" table, sorted by the "CustomerName" column:
ASC
TheASC command is used to sort the data returned in ascending order.
The following SQL statement selects all the columns from the "Customers" table, sorted by the "CustomerName" column:
DESC
