Redwood Materialspartnership
To make the batteries that powerelectricvehicles more sustainable, we need to work toward closing the loop at the end of their life. That’s whyVolkswagen is collaborating with Redwood Materials to work toward creating a circular supply chain for EV batteries. With Redwood’s help, end-of-life batteries from VW’selectricvehicles will be able to be recycled and refined into criticalcomponents that can be used by battery manufacturers in new batteries.

Electrifying Connections
This Cinco de Mayo,Volkswagen teamed up with two Hispanic artists tocreate a set of unique wrap designs for theall‑electric ID.4. Denver artist Tony Ortega embraced the unique identity of his hometown, translating its Latin iconography into his impressionistic artwork that celebrates the strength and diversity ofcommunity. Artist, muralist and Pilsen, IL native Salvador Vega leaned into theall‑electric power of the ID.4 to inspire his traditional Mexican designs of transformation and movement, using the vibrant color palette his neighborhood murals have made him famous for.
