Far View Lodge – Sleep in the Heart of History
Located 15 miles beyond the entrance, Far View Lodge is the only lodging located within Mesa Verde National Park—offering a peaceful retreat immersed in natural beauty. Designed to capture the spirit of the Southwest, the lodge welcomes guests with traditional Western décor, sweeping canyon views, warm hospitality, and exceptional dining.
The lodge features 150 guest rooms, available in two categories: Kiva and Kiva Deluxe View. Each is thoughtfully styled to reflect the solitude and serenity of Mesa Verde. Here, you'll find no in-room televisions or cell service—just quiet moments, star-filled skies, and chances to spot deer, birds, and other wildlife right outside your window.

- Cancellation Policy Cancellation Policy
Lodging reservation cancel policies are rate specific and can be viewed by clicking on the rate name when availability returns. Cancellations outside of the cancel policy will receive a full refund. Cancelling within the cancel policy will result in a full forfeiture of the deposit.

- Payment Policy Payment Policy
Deposit of first night's stay plus taxes and surcharges is due at the time of booking. The remaining balance is due at the time of check-in.
- Pet Policy Pet Policy
Two pet maximum. A fee of$25.00 per pet is required. Pets are not allowed on park trails, in archaeological sites, public buildings, or Kiva Deluxe View rooms. Pets must be under physical control at all times and may not be left unattended in lodge rooms or vehicles. Housekeepers will not enter a room housing a pet or service animal. Responsible pet ownership includes proper disposal of pet waste.
