We review and update our Privacy Policy to reflect the changes that come with the development of new products, services, technologies and uses of information. In addition, we occasionally make organizational, stylistic and grammatical changes to make our policy easier to read. Below you’ll find an overview of the changes that have been made in the past six months.

We made changes to the state privacy law section of our privacy policy to add information about a new privacy law in Maryland. We also added information about our practices related to the Visible brand, and updated our state privacy law section to describe how these customers can exercise their privacy rights.

We made changes to the state privacy law section of our privacy policy to add information about a new privacy law in Minnesota. We added information about our practices related to the Verizon Value brands including Clearway Wireless for Business, GoSmart Mobile, Net10 Wireless, Page Plus, SafeLink Wireless, Simple Mobile, Straight Talk Wireless, Total Wireless, Tracfone, and Walmart Family Mobile, and we updated the state privacy law section to describe how these customers can exercise their privacy rights.

We made changes to the state privacy law section of our privacy policy to add information about new privacy laws in Colorado and Tennessee and to clarify and provide additional details about other state privacy laws. We added additional detail about information that we disclose to advertising companies, such as social media networks, to help Verizon provide consumers with more relevant advertising and measure the effectiveness of our ads. We also reorganized the Choices section of our privacy policy and made other grammatical and stylistic changes.
