Background

In Consensus 121-C28, the UTC specified that the Bidi_Class forU+070F SYRIAC ABBREVIATION MARK was to be updated to AL forUnicode 6.0. Due to a clerical error, this change was incorrectlycarried out, and the character was updated to have the Bidi_ClassAN by mistake. This corrigendum corrects the Bidi_Class asintended, so that U+070F will not be separated into distinctdirectional runs from the other Syriac characters it is used with.

Changes to the Content of UnicodeData.txt

Change to Unicode 6.0 entry for U+070F from:

070F;SYRIAC ABBREVIATION MARK;Cf;0;AN;;;;;N;;;;;

to:

070F;SYRIAC ABBREVIATION MARK;Cf;0;AL;;;;;N;;;;;
