Report a transportation accident or incident

In accordance with the TSB Regulations,reportable accidents or incidents must be reported to the Board as soon as possible and by the quickest means available.

Report a potentially unsafe act or condition (SECURITAS)

You can report—in complete confidence—potentially unsafe acts or conditions relating to the Canadian transportation system that would not normally be reported through other channels. The information you provide may help provide insight into national and even global transportation safety issues.

Contact the appropriate agency

Contact the appropriate agency for questions about any of the following:

• Airport security:Canadian Air Transport Security Authority
• Airline service:Canadian Transport Agency, Commissioner of Air Complaints
• Motor vehicles (including cars and trucks):Transport Canada or your provincial ministry of transport
• Military and search and rescue incidents:National Defence
• Investigation reports from 1990 or before:Library and Archives Canada
• Railway crossing signal malfunction or blocked crossing: 1-800 number posted on or near the railway crossbuck signal or call your local law enforcement agency.
