Located at the heart of the city centre, Traverse Theatre holds an iconic status in Edinburgh – and you can stage your event here in one or more of our flexible and fully-equipped event spaces.

From our distinctive subterranean bar to the 214-capacity main space Traverse 1, and intimate, flexible studio Traverse 2, our spaces can be configured forparties, gigs, product launches, meetings, lectures and weddings – there’s really no limit.

As one of Scotland’s busiest theatres, we have lots of experience staging and supporting events of every kind, shape and size.

Our friendly and seasoned team ofmanagers, technical experts and front-of-house staff can help you plan your event in advance, before ensuring everything goes to plan on the day. And the corporate and charity rates for our spaces and services are very competitive.
