With just one week left before the big day, the brand is launching a new condiment called Leftover Gravy in a convenient squeeze bottle.

Yes, It’s Inspired by a Popular ‘Friends’ Episode

Heinz threw it back to a ‘90s sitcom while drawing inspiration for its latest innovation.

Fans of “Friends” will likely remember the 1998 episode titled “The One with Ross’s Sandwich.” In the episode, Monica makes a “Moist Maker” sandwich filled with leftovers for Ross. A layer of bread soaked in gravy is one of the sandwich’s defining details.

On Nov. 18, Heinzshared a photo of its squeezable gravy on Instagram and captioned the post, “The One Where HEINZ Makes a Gravy for Leftovers.”

Social media users had a lot of feelings about the idea, with many expressing their excitement.

“Umm YuM this better be real!” one commented. Another wrote, “Need this 😍.”

One Instagram user weighed in, writing, “The ultimate sandwich gravy you say, sign me up.”

But not everyone was sold on the idea. One social media user even called the product “a crime against humanity.”

Another questioned if it was as good as it sounded, writing, “Ok you all think it’s a good idea but has anyone tasted/tried??”

The Squeezable Gravy Is Already Sold Out

On Nov. 18, Heinz Leftover Gravy made its debut on Walmart.com as part of a limited-editionHeinz Leftover Gravy kit that came with one squeezable bottle of gravy, a jar of Heinz Homestyle Turkey Gravy and a recipe for the “Ultimate Thanksgiving Leftovers Sandwich.”

The kits, which cost $1.88, sold out quickly, but Heinz has plans to add additional kits for sale on Walmart.com throughout the rest of the week.
