About

I build projects with Arduino and Espruino. I've designed dozens of circuit boards for these projects.

I maintain the ATTinyCore, megaTinyCore and DxCore hardware packages for Arduino.

PROTOTYPING BOARD
Strip Board, Protoboard, prototyping board, solderable breadboard - whatever you want to call it - has been a mainstay in electronics prototyping for decades, and hasn't changed much in the interim (not even in production quality, as they're still often single-sided and/or manufactured from low-grade phenolic resin instead of FR4).

My prototyping board creations bring these into the modern era, offering a combination of 0.1" through-hole prototyping areas (consisting of groups of 2, 3 or 4 pins connected together, like solderable breadboard) and pads for common surface mount packages connected to through-holes for easy soldering.

I offer prototyping board between 4" x 4" to less than an inch square in my Mini Protoboard line. Unlike most commercial prototyping board, these boards are made to the same quality standards as real PCBs. Through-holes are plated and the boards are double sided.

These are offered in both generic versions, and ones tailored to specific microcontrollers, like the Tiny84/85, or microcontroller boards, like the Espruino Pico, Arduino Pro Mini, and the wildly popular ESP8266.

ATTINY BREAKOUT BOARDS:
I love the ATtiny lineup, particularly the latest part in the 1-series and 2-series . These have the highly capable modern AVR peripherals also featured on the Dx-series and - in the case of the 2-series, the headline new feature slated for the EA-series, whenever those become available: A new ADC -12 bit, proper differential functionality, programmable gain amplifier, 1024 sample accumulation for oversampling, and more, This is the first "modern" (post-2016) AVR with a fully functional differential ADC with programmable gain. (The Dx requires the analog voltage to be less than VRef - which kind of defeats the whole point of a differential ADC.

OTHER BOARDS:
I also sell a number of other boards to fill gaps in the market, including a breakout board for the popular LoRa/LoRaWAN modules from Microchip (the RN2483 and 2903), which has become one of my top selling items.

I also sell MOSFET drivers and breakout boards for logic level MOSFETs operating at logic levels as low as 1.8v. These are almost invariably SMD parts which are difficult to use without a properly designed breakout board. Azduino offers boards with modern and high performance FETs.

Shipping Policies

International orders have been suffering long delays due to COVID-19 - please check your country at https://about.usps.com/newsroom/service-alerts/international/ and make sure that I can ship to you, and that you are okay with any delays. There may be additional information available from your national postal service. Some customers have reported packages being delayed in transit by over a month. We cannot offer any sort of guarantees regarding international shipments at this time; we apologize for the inconvenience, and are looking into shipping internationally through UPS.

Please be sure that the address given to Tindie is accurate, and includes your street name and number - company name is only required if shipping to a commercial address. International orders require a valid phone number.

Domestic packages that go more than 1 week without a tracking update will be presumed lost in the mail and refunded or reshipped as buyer prefers. Any international packages can be delayed in customs without warning for 2 weeks or more. After 1 month without a tracking event (2 months to South and Central America - insane delays in those nations are commonplace), we will reship or refund a missing order (as you prefer). COVID-19 update: Some countries have stopped processing incoming international mail entirely -we will cancel orders to countries which we know are not processing international mail at all. This may also cause longer than usual shipping times - we are not responsible for such delays.

We do not open inquiries through the postal service - experience has shown this to be futile.

We ship all orders via USPS. UPS will be added as an option in the near future, I hope. We do all shipping through Stamps.com, and they offer me UPS, but all addresses are rejected as invalid, and I have emailed support numerous times and have had zero response. So at present, we cannot entertain requests to ship through other carriers.

No country selected, please select your country to see shipping options.

Overall very good. Never sure of what docs apply

ForATtiny412/402 dev board, Arduino compatible

First time using the newer AVR parts. Sch did not match. Was not sure if my programmer would just work. Wanted to just prove these could serve as a OneWire DS temp sensor bus driver/coproc for a larger Arm M4 based system. Took a while to understand and to get my old Atmel-ICE into play. This, with the new OneWire library you guys provided on GitHub, made the project work - with less than 100 bytes left in flash! My guess is that you guys made the exact scenario work in your OneWire work.

Thanks,

Rich

Great Wemos D1 mini proto boards

ForPrototyping Shield for WeMos D1 Mini (3/pk)

These are a huge time saver, in the past I've used standard d1 mini perf boards for prototyping, but the breadboard style of these makes for a much tidier, quicker and more reliable end product. Can't wait to use it! Dealing with Azduino has been great too!

Tiny and Awesome Board

ForEasy touch proximity sensor (assembled)

This is by far the smallest touch sensor I've seen, and its adjustable! I'm building an art display for home assistant and this is the perfect touch input device, you can't get smaller and cleaner than this. Spence is also great to deal with, friendly and helpful.

Handy Little Breakout Board for the New ATtiny412

ForATtiny412/402 dev board, Arduino compatible

I am porting a project originally done with a PIKAXE and need a platform to breadboard the other components on. It has 2 hobby servos, 2 switches and an LED which comes on the board, so this fit the bill perfectly. The Arduino library he wrote Just Worked (tm) and exposes lots of hardware options that I plan to explore on this and future projects

I also wanted to try using UPDI programming. That took a little fiddling to get working with the "USB to Serial USB to TTL CH340 Module" from HiLetgo and a BAT54C Schottkey diode wire according to instructions on the github link, but it all worked great in the end.

My only suggestion would be to replace the photos and schematics here with the current Rev B boards or put them in a separate document

Great deal, all as advertised

ForMini protoboard pieces - 28 pcs set only $6!

Got exactly what was advertised. Very happy with this purchase as I was looking for a few of the pieces included for a project.
