ATA Bylaws with proposed amendments highlighted
Trainee Member Role – Board of Directors
Amendment: Trainee Board seats are changed to a 2-year term, with the first year as an observer and the second year as a voting member.
Quorum for Board of Directors
Amendment: This states that a majority of the voting members constitutes a quorum.
Defining Standing Committees
Amendments: This identifies three standing committees and empowers the Board to establish additional standing committees as needed to conduct ATA affairs.

In the coming month, some U.S.-based ATA members of the following medical societies will receive an AMA RUC survey regardingvaluation of ultrasound-guided FNA CPT codes (10005, 10006):
American Association of Clinical Endocrinology (AACE),Endocrine Society (ENDO), American College of Radiology (ACR), American Society of Cytopathology (ASC), College of American Pathologists (CAP), Outpatient Endovascular and Interventional Society (OEIS), Society of Interventional Radiology (SIR)
If you receive this online survey, it is critical that you complete and submit it by the deadline. In order to ensure equitable RVU values for these procedures a robust survey response from physicians that perform US-guided FNA is required, as are accurate and timely responses. Be sure your answers reflect the full scope of work- including preparation, performance, cleanup, visit completion, materials, and supplies.
