I was impressed with foveated streamingon the Steam Frame, which, when you’re interacting with games streamed to the headset, renders what’s right in front of your eyes at the highest fidelity. I hope it’s just as good on the Vision Pro.

Apple announced visionOS’s foveated streaming as part of the first developer beta for visionOS 26.4.

The acquisition seems to have occurred in October 2025, asAppleInsider reports. Apple’s motivation for purchasing Kuzu remains a mystery, but graph databases like Kuzu’s could be used in Apple’s FileMaker Pro, Freeform, or iWork apps, or used for social features in other apps like Apple Music or Apple Games.

The Foundation for Individual Rights and Expression (FIRE) is suing Attorney General Pam Bondi and Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem for their alleged roles urging Meta and Apple to removea Facebook group andapp documenting ICE agents. Apple no longer dominates global supply chains.

Prices could increase (or profits thinned) once Apple’s current stock of components like DRAM, NAND, and advanced chips runs out, according toThe Wall Street Journal:

Artificial-intelligence companies are writing huge checks for chips, memory, specialized glass fiber and more, and they have begun to outduel Apple in the race to secure components. Suppliers accustomed to catering to Apple’s every whim are gaining the leverage to demand that the iPhone maker pay more.

Upgraded MacBook Pros could be just around the corner.

Mark Gurman says in the latest edition of thePower On newsletter that theslightly spec-bumped MacBook Pros (not the touchscreen OLED models) should launch as part of the macOS 26.3 release cycle. That means he expects them to hit shelves before the end of March.

All signs point to an imminent launch of next-generation MacBook Pros that retain the current form factor but deliver faster chips. I’m told the new models — code-named J714 and J716 — are slated for the macOS 26.3 software cycle, which runs from February through March. Another sign that an upgrade is coming: Supply of the current high-end MacBook Pro models has tightened significantly in Apple’s online store.
