Andrew Norfolk, chief investigative reporter of The Times, was named as the joint winner of the Orwell Prize for Journalism last night.
Norfolk, who won for his investigations into gangs grooming children for sex, shared the award with Tom Bergin, of the Reuters news agency, for his reports on corporate tax avoidance.
