Founded in 2005, The Florentine is the independent news magazine in English for Florence and Tuscany lovers in Italy and all over the world. The Florentine is published in a print edition and as a digital PDF every month.Subscribers receive the magazine as soon as it is published, on or around the first Thursday of the month (we do not publish in August). The digital PDF is available for download two days ahead of the print publication, on or around the first Tuesday of the month.

Readers can find The Florentine for free at selected distribution points around Florence. We print 10,000 copies every month, but our readership far exceeds this number. Becoming a subscriber means that you will always get your issue of The Florentine every month – and have it delivered to your home or office.If you live in Italy, a Paper + PDF subscription only costs 5 euro per issue.If you take out a PDF subscription, you’ll only spend 3 euro per issue.

Worldwide print subscriptions are available. However, we recommend the PDF subscription for overseas readers: it’s cheaper, quicker and environmentally friendly. If you would like to receive the print edition, we use the fastest postal service currently available from Italy.

Premium Press by Poste Italiane is the postal service used by The Florentine to ship with maximum speed in Italy. The quality objectives for delivery are:
• within 1 working day following the date of posting (J+1) for 80% of items;
• within 4 working days following the date of posting (J+4) for 98% of items.

You can change your address details. To change your address details please contactpress@theflorentine.net. Note that digital subscribers will need to give at least 2 weeks notice of an address change. Home delivery subscribers can only change their address to another address in the same shipping area or Italy and will need to give at least 1 week notice.. to explore subscription options.
