Premium FunctionsBack to contents

Climbing Weather

The Climbit Weather Widget turns raw forecasts into one clear 'Climbit Score' for every crag, instantly showing when and where conditions are best. This 0-to-5 star rating blends temperature, humidity, recent precipitation, sun/shade, and wind into an obvious answer. No more juggling weather apps or bouncing between tabs - just check the score, grab your gear, and go.

Fullscreen Topos and Zoom

Discover our Fullscreen & Zoom feature, now available on both mobile and desktop. Whether you're planning your next climb at home or navigating the wall at the crag, you can now view topos in fullscreen and zoom in with a tap for detailed route lines, grades, and anchor placements.

Map filtering: route gear style

Want to know where the pure trad lines or boulders are in your area? Use the gear filter on each map to search for routes by style or to filter by gym or real rock.

Additional map layers

Unlock advanced map layers on theCrag! Get access to detailed satellite imagery, contour maps and elevation data with a Supporter membership. The perfect resource for planning and navigating your next climb!

Auto loading of maps

While browsing area pages on desktop, the map widget will automatically load geographical data. Due to the high computational demands, this auto-loading feature is available only to supporters.
