      Isadore Sharp,O.C.,hotel executive (born 8 October 1931 inToronto,Ontario).

      Isadore Sharp is the son of working classJewishPolish immigrants. He was educated at Forest Hill Collegiate Institute inToronto and then attendedRyerson University. At Ryerson, Sharp received an honours in architecture in 1952 and a Silver Medal for Outstanding Academic Achievement and Extra-Curricular Activitiy. Sharp entered thehotel industry in 1960 and by 1961 opened the firstFour Seasons Hotel in Toronto. Four Seasons currently owns or operates more than 100 properties worldwide. In 1992 he was made an Officer of theOrder of Canada and is the current chair of the Board of Directors of Four Seasons Hotels Inc.
