Qualifiers - Group B: Yemen 10-0 Guam; Laos 5-1 Cambodia; Kyrgyz Republic 1-3 Pakistan

BIshkek: Yemen, Laos and Pakistan impressed again in the AFC U17 Asian Cup Saudi Arabia 2026™ Qualifiers after each notched their second wins in Group B on Monday.

Yemen were too strong for Guam as the West Asian side ran out 10-0 winners, Laos were at their scintillating best in defeating Cambodia 5-1 with Pakistan showing their quality in a 3-1 success against Kyrgyz Republic.

Bishkek: Laos, Yemen and Pakistan made winning starts to their AFC U17 Asian Cup Saudi Arabia 2026™ Group B campaigns on Saturday.

Laos dominated in their 8-0 success against Guam, second half strikes sealed Yemen a 2-0 victory against nine-man Kyrgyz Republic while Pakistan emerged 3-1 winners against Cambodia.

Binh Duong: Hong Kong, China powered to a 7-1 win against Guam in their opening AFC U17 Women’s Asian Cup™ China 2026 Qualifiers Group D tie on Wednesday.

The win sets up Hong Kong, China for a top of the table clash with Vietnam to decide the group winners on Friday.

Binh Duong: Vietnam began their AFC U17 Women’s Asian Cup™ China 2026 Qualifiers with a dominant 5-0 win against Guam in their Group D tie on Monday.

Masahiko Okiyama’s side were in total control of the match, scoring twice in the first half before netting three more in the second half to take the victory.

Abu Dhabi: Islamic Republic of Iran held off a fightback from the United Arab Emirates to top Group I of the AFC U23 Asian Cup™ Saudi Arabia 2026 Qualifiers Group I with a 3-2 win on Tuesday.

Iran will make a return to the Finals after having missed out on the 2024 edition, with UAE also going through as one of the four best runners-up.

Hong Kong, China, meanwhile, rode their luck to come away with a 1-0 victory against Guam for their first points of the Qualifiers.

Abu Dhabi: Five second-half goals steered the Islamic Republic of Iran to a comfortable 6-0 win over Guam in their penultimate Group I clash in the AFC U23 Asian Cup™ Saudi Arabia 2026 Qualifiers at the Al Nahyan Stadium on Saturday.

IR Iran will play the United Arab Emirates - themselves 2-0 winners against Hong Kong, China - on Tuesday in what will be a top-of-the-table clash.

Abu Dhabi: The Islamic Republic of Iran produced a late flourish to earn a 4-0 win over Hong Kong, China in Abu Dhabi on Wednesday to make a positive start to Group I of the AFC U23 Asian Cup Saudi Arabia 2026 Qualifiers.

The United Arab Emirates were equally impressive in their opener, defeating Guam 13-0.

Yangon: Esther Sunday scored twice as Mongolia’s Khovd Western FC completed their Group A commitments in the AFC Women’s Champions League preliminary stage on Sunday with a 5-2 win over Strykers FC of Guam in Yangon.

A rapid-fire double from the Nigerian in the 20th and 21st minute pushed the Mongolian side towards the win and a third place finish in the standings after Kim Hyun-jeong had put her side ahead after five minutes.

 

Ulzisbayar Badamkhatan and Jeong Eun-uk were also on target to ensure Orgilsaikhan Bayarmagnai’s took the points despite late goals from Yae Kawauchi and Aubrey Ibanez for the side from Guam.

Yangon: Chandler McDaniel scored six times as Stallion Laguna FC handed Guam’s Strykers FC a 13-0 defeat in Yangon on Thursday to remain perfect in Group A of the AFC Women’s Champions League preliminary rounds.

Rhea Chan and Malia Cerdon netted twice for the side from the Philippines, who moved into pole position in the standings ahead of their final match against Myanmar’s ISPE WFC on Sunday. Only the winners of the group are guaranteed to advance to the next phase.

San San Thein’s side scored seven times in a dominant display during the opening 45 minutes, with Phyu Phyu Win netting twice at Thuwunna Stadium.

Kuala Lumpur: The AFC Women’s Champions League™ 2025/26 is gearing up for kick-off with the Preliminary Stage to be contested on August 25 to 31.

The 19 teams aiming to advance to the Group Stage have been divided into five groups, with matches to be played in Yangon (Myanmar), Qarshi (Uzbekistan), Melaka (Malaysia), Vientiane (Laos) and Phnom Penh (Cambodia).

Qualifiers - Group F: Japan 11-0 IR Iran; Malaysia 2-0 Guam

Kuala Lumpur: Japan confirmed their ticket to the AFC U20 Women’s Asian Cup™ Thailand with an 11-0 win over Islamic Republic of Iran on Sunday.

The triumph meant six-time champions Japan topped Group F of the Qualifiers with nine points, scoring 32 goals and conceding none.

Malaysia defeated Guam 2-0 in the later match to finish third.
