Breakout artistFletcher isn't wasting her youth by taking life too seriously. In the new video for her single "Wasted Youth," Fletcher's song becomes an anthem for savoring some of the best parts about being young. Of course, that includes falling in love, running around doing whatever you want, and, of course, kissing people you're into.

The video seems to unfold a love story, shown through old #TBT home videos interspersed with present-day footage of our heroines making the most out of a pretty regular night out. They hit up a diner, a laundromat, and a parking garage, but they look like they're truly having the time of their lives. The video's intimate lo-fi aesthetic makes it feel like a super personal mood board, almost likedirector Ryan Hutchins made it to look the way love feels.

Fletcher, who's been outspoken about her support for theLGBTQ community, spoketoW Magazine about what the "Wasted Youth" video meant to her. "I really wanted to emphasize the idea of being present in a moment and following your feelings regardless of how complicated it may feel or what people are saying to you," she explained. "There has been such a shift with my generation where people are not so quick to put a label on sexuality and are really starting to feel more safe with expressing this sort of openness."

The video is worth a watch if you want to feel all young and sparkly, and her wholeFinding Fletcher EP is definitely worth a listen. We're sure we'll be hearing more from Fletcher soon.
