Trapped by the Audit Office

In this cartoon political parties are depicted as mice, trapped by the investigation into election spending carried out by the Office of the Auditor General in 2006. It found that in the run-up to the 2005 election most parties had illegally used Parliamentary Service funds for election advertising.
