コンピュータ上の三次元空間に立体的に構築した世界を、我々が考える日本の先人達の空間認識の論理構造「超主観空間」によって、平面化し映像化にしている。 光の八咫烏が空間を飛び回り、その軌跡が光跡となり光の空間に描く書『空書』を描いている。烏が空中を互いに追い追われつつ、花となって散っていく。
日本のアニメが生んだ表現のひとつに、アニメーター板野一郎によって確立された「板野サーカス」というものがある。画面いっぱいに埋め尽くすほど大量に発射されたミサイル群が、まったく正しくないパースペクティブで描かれた（より人間がダイナミックさや迫力を感じるようにデフォルメされて描かれた）空間を乱れ飛ぶさまを、超高速のカメラワークによる視点の回り込み演出による映像美であるとされ、80年代以降のアニメーション表現に大きな影響を与えた。
本作品は、板野サーカスをオマージュし、二次元のアニメーションで行われていた空間のデフォルメを三次元空間で再現することによって、日本のアニメーター達が生んだデフォルメされた空間とは、どのような空間認識の論理構造であるか、それらは伝統的な日本の空間認識の連続性の中にあるのではないかという仮説の模索である。そして、デフォルメされた空間を三次元空間で再現することによって、平面化した時自由に横に広げ、実際の現実空間に再構築することを試みている。そして平面を分割し、分割された平面を現実空間に立体的に配置することによって、どのような体験になるかという実験でもある。
