Hasina and Modi to inaugurate ‘Mitali Express’ train today
The premier, along with the Railways Minister Nurul Islam Sujan, will join the inauguration programme from her office

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and her Indian counterpart Narendra Modi will inaugurate a new passenger train, which will run between the Dhaka and New Jalpaiguri, on Saturday via a video conference.
Confirming the matter, Railways Ministry Senior Information Officer Shariful Alam said, "The launching ceremony of the new "Mitali Express" train will take place at the Dhaka Cantonment Railway Station at 3.30 pm."
The premier, along with the Railways Minister Nurul Islam Sujan, will join the inauguration programme from her office.
Other senior officials will be present at the station.
However, the train's operation will commence after the pandemic situation reaches normalcy.
