Pier Summit Ski Lodge - Now through December 2025
The popular 80’s themed pop-up bar, Pier Summit Ski Lodge, returns to transport guests to a decade of the past this winter. Neon-hued décor and lighting complimented by kitschy eighties trademarks and a life-size yeti transform the cozy space at the Kimpton Shorebreak while servers, outfitted in retro one-piece ski outfits, will present menu items showcased through vintage viewfinders. Lodge-goers can enjoy a selection of affectionately named craft cocktails such as “Ski Lift,” “Big Foot,” “Snow Bunny,” and “Shot Ski”.
Oak & Ember Holiday Speakeasy - November 15 through January 15
New this season is an exclusive holiday speakeasy Oak & Ember at Pasea Hotel & Spa’s Treehouse rooftop bar. Inspired by the rustic charm of a cozy wood cabin at Christmastime, this pop-up experience blends coastal cool with fireside nostalgia. Visitors can sip their way through a menu of themed cocktails crafted to ignite their holiday spirit, enjoy interactive activations and giveaways, and unwind in plush lounge seating surrounded by flickering candlelight and glowing ember-inspired décor. Each evening promises a new spark of magic as the rooftop transforms into a hidden haven of festive indulgence above the Pacific Ocean. Holiday Igloos - November 7 through January 11
Holiday igloos return to Pasea Hotel & Spa for the second year in a row, featuring festival holiday fun by the pool between swaying palm trees and with an ocean view of the beach. Igloo visitors can delight in some winter themed igloos such as Winter Wonderland, Holidays in Jalisco, From Park City to Surf City, and Apres Ski, and enjoy a cozy time with complimentary spirits.
Fireside Igloos - Now through winter
This season, visitors can experience the magic of coastal evenings in cozy luxury with fireside igloos at The Waterfront Beach Resort. Located poolside with stunning ocean views, these glowing domes provide the perfect seaside retreat featuring plush seating, a personal gas firepit and a s’mores kit for guests to enjoy under the stars from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m.
Parlor Donuts - Opening soon
A new craft doughnut and coffee shop is set to open in the heart of downtown Huntington Beach this summer. The shop will feature the brand’s signature Famous Layered Doughnuts, along with a selection of vegan, gluten-friendly, and keto-friendly options. Guests can also expect artisanal breakfast items and specialty coffee, all served in a comfortable, community-focused setting.
California Cabana/Fork and Spoon - opening in 2026
California Fork & Spoon, a new beach stand, will open in 2026 to offer elevated California fare to beachgoers. Located on Brookhurst & Pacific Coast Highway, it will join the other seven beach stands dotted along Huntington Beach’s 10 miles of coastline and beach. Each beach stand has a distinct concept that’s unique to its location and offers events, live music, comedy shows, and more during the summer months.
Huntington’s on the Pier - opening in 2026
Located halfway down the iconic Huntington Beach Pier, Huntington’s on the Pier will take oceanfront dining to a new level with its 360° expansive ocean views and coastal fare. Surfing action will be livestreamed inside the restaurant from the Pier below with art from local artists showcased throughout the interior of the restaurant.
The Kickstand Soda Shop - opening in 2026
Coming to Downtown Huntington Beach is The Kickstand Soda Shop, a fresh take on the soda-fountain classic with a modern twist. Dirty sodas—sodas spiked with cream, flavored syrups and citrus or fruit add-ins—have grown from regional novelty to nationwide buzz.
Champagnes Kitchen - opening in 2026
Award-winning SoCal eatery Champagnes Kitchen will be opening in Downtown Huntington Beach, offering quality ingredients, handcrafted meals and a welcoming atmosphere all in a family-owned deli setting.
Sticks & Stones Clubhouse – October 2025
Located inside Pacific City with an open view of the beach, Sticks & Stones Clubhouse is an interactive sports bar that features golf simulators, craft cocktails, elevated bar fare, and ocean-view dining.

Expanded international service by Volaris at Ontario Airport - July 2025
Mexico-based carrier Volaris is growing its footprint at Ontario International Airport (ONT) with 14 new weekly flights to three destinations in Mexico. The expansion includes daily non-stop service to Los Cabos (SJD), plus new routes to León/Bajío (BJX) operating three times a week and Morelia (MLM) flying four times weekly. Fares start at $184 one-way (based on roundtrip purchase).
Offshore 9 Rooftop Lounge - re-opened July 2025
