How is the Department implementing the Plain Writing Act?
  • We offer a several one hour workshops for employees including:
    • The principles of plain writing
    • Plan writing for local staff at overseas posts; and
    • Brevity and clarity
  • We offer targeted plain writing training to offices and teams within the Department.
  • We regularly publish notices reminding employees to use plain writing in their communication.
