Victini (ビクティニ,Victini) is a creature from thePokémon universe.

Origin[edit]

Victini is a Fire/Psychic-typeMythical Pokémon introduced inGeneration V. It is categorized at #494 in the National Pokédex and, notably, #000 in the Unova Regional Pokédex, as the "Victory Pokémon". It is known to give victory to those who befriend it. Its signature Ability isVictory Star, which increases the accuracy of all allies on the field by 10%. Its signature move isSearing Shot, which deals damage to all surrounding Pokémon with a chance of burning, and it is commonly associated withV-create, an incredibly powerful move that also lowers the user's Defense, Special Defense, and Speed.

InSuper Smash Bros. 4[edit]

As a Poké Ball Pokémon[edit]

Victini appears as aPoké Ball andMaster Ball Pokémon. When summoned, it uses its signature Ability, Victory Star, to give its summonertemporary immunity to knockback and a 1.5x boost to attack.

In both versions, it must be unlocked by completing a specificchallenge before being able to appear:

Victini has a spawn chance of12/975 from Poké Balls and40/690 from Master Balls. It cannot be summoned on the following stages in a standard versus match (applies to both games and only the base form unless noted otherwise):

Victini cannot be summoned if the following items are active and vice versa:

Trophy[edit]

InSuper Smash Bros. for Wii U Victini's trophy is part of theLegend of Pokémon Black & Pokémon WhiteTrophy Box.

PALVictini can create an endless supply of energy and share it with others. Its Victory Star move makes the fighter who summoned it glow with power from head to toe. As long as they're glowing, their launch ability will shoot up and they'll never flinch. That said, they're not invincible – Victini isn't a miracle-worker.

Spirit[edit]

Victini also appears as a Legend-classsupport spirit.

InAdventure Mode: World of Light, Victini is presumably one of the countless spirits captured byGaleem during his takeover of the universe. Victini's spirit is located in thePower Plant sub-dungeon ofThe Light Realm.

Victini's Spirit Battle uses anIncineroar puppet fighter and is fought on thePrism Tower stage'sBattlefield form. During the battle, Victini is summoned and immediately grants Incineroar a sudden Final Smash while the player's fighter becomes easy to launch.
